Copyright on any open access article in a journal published by Asclepius Open is retained by the author(s), i.e. author is the copyright holder for the submitted work. Authors also grant any third party the right to use the article freely as long as its integrity is maintained and its original authors, citation details and publisher are identified. Author will hold the patent, trademark and other intellectual property rights for their submission.

Authors allow Asclepius Open a license to publish the article and identify itself as the original publisher. Author has to sign on the licence agreement to allow author to publish the article. Authors will transfer the right to Asclepius Open to publish and distribute and to promote the article on social networking sites.
